What kind of wall mount should I select?
There are many choices when it comes to flat screen TV wall mounts.
There are 3 general screen sizes: small (up to 32 inches), medium and large (42,43,48,50,55, and 60 inches), and extra large (65, 70, 84 inches). Look for the size range on the box and make sure you know the size of your TV before you buy.
In addition to size, there are special features to consider. The most basic and inexpensive mount is static and is a good choice if you will never need to angle the TV in any way. Low Profile or Ultra Slim mounts are static mounts that offer a sleek and discreet look. A Tilt Mount moves up and down only on the horizontal axis and will be desirable if you want to mount your TV higher up and/or you want quick and easy access to the back of the TV. Finally, Swivel Mounts (AKA Full Motion, Articulating or Cantilever Mounts), extend out from the wall and offer a large range of movement.
Yet another option is a Corner TV Bracket to, you guessed it, mount your TV in the corner!
Where should I mount my TV?
This is very flexible. TVs can be mounted inside, outside, in the corner, even on the ceiling! Just be sure to mount into studs or concrete or brick. You don’t want to count on drywall alone to hold your precious TV.
